Members of the Senedd can ask Welsh Government ministers, the Counsel General and the Senedd Commission questions in writing. The answers are published on the Senedd's website.

Members have tabled 882 written questions in the Seventh Senedd so far. 735 have been answered and 147 are awaiting an answer. Of the 810 questions whose due date has passed, 303 (37%) were answered by that date. Half of the answers were published within 8 days of the question being tabled.
