What assessment has the Counsel General made of the preparedness of the Residential Property Tribunal to hear applications for remediation orders and remediation contribution orders in reasonable timeframes?

Atebwyd gan Counsel General and Minister for Delivery
I engage regularly with the President of the Welsh Tribunals on a wide number of issues including performance.
Officials held regular meetings with the Residential Property Tribunal as the Building Safety (Wales) Bill progressed through the Senedd, including following the changes that were made to the Bill at stage 3. Work is already underway to develop the regulations that are required under sections 114 and 115 of the Bill, and discussions with the Residential Property Tribunal about its preparedness for implementation will continue alongside that.
