What is the Welsh Government's timeline for the completion of the Denbigh High School refurbishment, and how will it ensure that the investment addresses long-term educational needs in Denbighshire?

Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Education
The Welsh Government has recently received the Strategic Outline Case (SOC) for Denbigh High School, which will now be evaluated through the Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme’s review process. This Programme is delivered in partnership with our local authorities, Further Education Institutions and Diocesan Authorities.
Progression of the project and any Welsh Government funding is also subject to successful approval at Outline Business Case (OBC) and Full Business Case (FBC) stages. Progress through these stages is the responsibility of Denbighshire County Council.
Through the Sustainable Communities for Learning programme, all projects are required to demonstrate strategic investment, sustainability, and alignment with the new curriculum, ensuring the investment meets long-term educational needs in Denbighshire.
