Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Trefnydd and Chief Whip
The UK Government is responsible, as a member state, for submitting reports to the United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The Welsh Government inputs into these reports where we have devolved functions in relation to these rights.
The UK Government delegation, including officials from the Welsh Government, other devolved governments and crown dependencies, attended an interactive dialogue session with the UN Committee on 13 & 14 February 2025 to provide an update on the UK’s 7th Periodic report process. The Committee’s Concluding Observations and list of recommendations report was published on 28 February 2025.
A copy of that report can be found at Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights | OHCHR.
