When will commencement orders be made in order to bring the procurement duties in the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023 into being?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Minister for Culture, Skills and Social Partnership
Earlier this year, we made the commencement order to allow us to develop the secondary legislation, guidance for socially responsible procurement, the clauses for public works and workforce matters, and a new code for outsourcing services. In July, we began a three-month public consultation on the draft regulations. The remaining commencement orders are expected to be made around early 2026.
