Will the Cabinet Minister set out what processes, accessibility assessments and equality impact considerations the Welsh Government applies when designing bilingual external communications to ensure that neither language presentation, document layout nor publication format disadvantages non-Welsh speakers or people with disabilities?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Government Effectiveness & the Constitution (Dafydd Trystan Davies)
The Welsh Government considers all relevant equality and accessibility standards in designing bilingual external communications. These considerations include fonts, colour contrast, document layout and formats. We also ensure that the Welsh language is treated no less favourably than English in line with the Welsh Language standards. These processes are built into our development of channels, content and documents on an ongoing basis.
