What steps is the Welsh Government taking to upgrade band 6 health visitors to band 7, and to ensure that Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board honours the agreed job evaluation process?

The Welsh Government does not determine the grading of individual NHS posts. Pay banding is established through the nationally agreed Agenda for Change Job Evaluation Scheme, which NHS employers are responsible for applying.
The dispute involving health visitors in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is a local employment matter. The Welsh Government expects all NHS organisations to follow the agreed job evaluation processes and has consistently encouraged the Health Board and Unite to work together to reach a resolution.
