Question
What actions has the Welsh Government taken to promote Wales as a TV and film location?
Answer
Answered by Trefnydd, Chief Whip and Cabinet Minister for Culture and Sport (Heledd Fychan)
The promotion of Wales as a film and television production location is central to the work of Creative Wales, including maintaining an online locations database that is accessible to productions worldwide.
Creative Wales works closely with the British Film Commission and other industry partners to raise Wales' profile and attract inward investment from film and television productions. This includes representing Wales at major industry events and marketing Wales as a premium filming location.
