Question
Will the Cabinet Minister confirm the date on which the Welsh Government first commenced legal proceedings to remove trespassers from the illegal travellers' encampment at Brocastle?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Enterprise, Connectivity and Energy (Adam Price)
No formal legal proceedings have yet been commenced by the Welsh Government to remove the unauthorised encampment at Brocastle Business Park. Officials have been managing the matter in accordance with Welsh Government’s Managing Unauthorised Encampments guidance and are currently considering the most appropriate legal and operational options to address the situation.
