Question
Will the Welsh Government confirm who will be carrying out the independent review into the Welsh Gender Service?

The Welsh Government does not have a role in the NWJCC’s performance and escalation process. The NWJCC are identifying independent reviewers with relevant and high-level expertise within the field of gender health for both the urgent clinical review of patients on the waiting list for surgery, and the planned non-surgical review of the Welsh Gender Service.
However, given the level of interest in this area, and to ensure objectivity, my understanding is that the names of the reviewers will not be made public.
