Question
What reforms to non-domestic rates does the Welsh Government intend to implement during this Senedd term, and what assessment has it made of the effect of those reforms on the overall rates burden faced by Welsh businesses?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Finance (Elin Jones)
Our manifesto included a range of specific commitments related to the reform of the non-domestic rates system. I will set out further details on our proposals in due course. Any legislation required to give effect to confirmed changes would be accompanied by a Regulatory Impact Assessment.
