What consideration has the Welsh Government given to removing the 50 mph speed limits on the M4 at Newport and reinstating the road to 70 mph?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Transport (Mark Hooper)
The 50 mph speed limits on sections of the M4 around Newport remain in place and there are currently no immediate plans to reinstate a 70 mph limit. As with any part of the strategic road network, speed limits may be reviewed in the future if there is a clear case and need to do so.
