What steps is the Welsh Government taking to ensure that patients who do not have access to NHS apps, smartphones or digital services are still able to respond to NHS communications by other means?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Health and Care (Mabon ap Gwynfor)
The NHS must ensure that people can communicate with it in a way that meets their individual needs. The NHS Wales App is optional and will complement, not replace, telephone, face-to-face and postal routes. These alternatives will remain available for people who cannot or choose not to use digital services. We are also improving information sharing and connected records to provide clearer, more consistent updates, while expanding access to appointment, referral, waiting list and personal health information.
