What consideration has the Welsh Government given to exempting those involved in the performing arts industry from the visitor levy?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Finance (Elin Jones)
To ensure simplicity and stability for businesses and visitors, the visitor levy has been designed with minimal exemptions and variations.
The levy is a modest charge of 75 pence or £1.30 per person per night (depending on the accommodation type) which is generally set at a lower rate than levies applied elsewhere.
