Does the Welsh Government remain committed to the Travel for All strategy introduced by the previous administration?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Transport (Mark Hooper)
The Welsh Government remains committed to the aims and principles in Travel for All to improve transport accessibility and inclusion for all people. Travel for All underpins the delivery of our wider transport objectives and commitments under the Programme for Government and the Disabled People's Rights Plan.
Over the next four years, the Travel for All principles will help us focus on improving the accessibility of transport services, information and infrastructure; embedding inclusive design and accessibility within transport planning and investment decisions; and ensuring disabled people are involved in shaping transport policy and services. We will continue to work with Transport for Wales, local authorities, operators and disabled people to remove barriers to travel and improve access to employment, education, services and communities across Wales.
