Further to WQ100416, why did the Welsh Government’s Equality and Inclusion Grant webpage list the roadshow which discusses “How to Talk About Immigration” if it was not receiving funding?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Equality (Sioned Williams)
A workshop on how to talk about immigration was one example of possible workshops provided as part of a funding proposal. In the process of finalising funding for the project, Welsh Government requested the roadshows be limited to those dealing directly with protected characteristics. The original proposal was loaded onto the website in error instead of the updated approach. This has now been corrected.
