How is the Welsh Government ensuring the Cardiff Bay train line is not impacted by wet weather?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy Minister for Transport (Mark Hooper)
As part of the recent investment to double track the Cardiff Bay line, Transport for Wales (TfW) has installed a new drainage system that runs the length of the line. This has significant additional capacity to cope with the higher rainfall that is predicted as a result of climat(Me change.
Welsh Government has also asked TfW to investigate the adaptations required across the transport infrastructure in Wales to cope with the expected changing weather conditions resulting from climate change.
