Cwestiwn
Mae'r cwestiwn a'r ateb yn Saesneg gan nad oes fersiwn Gymraeg ar gael.
Has the Welsh Government assessed the fiscal or budgetary implications, including any impact on business rates income and local authority revenue, of the loss of a professional rugby union region?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Finance (Elin Jones)
The Welsh Government has not undertaken impact assessments of a region losing its professional rugby team.
The Welsh Rugby Union is an independent governing body and decisions relating to professional rugby in Wales are matters for the WRU and the clubs concerned. It is therefore for the WRU to assess the implications of any proposed changes and to explain the evidence and analysis underpinning its decisions.
