Do Welsh Government employees receive paid leave to attend trade union conferences, national executive committee meetings or internal union elections, and if so, what were these costs in the last financial year?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Government Effectiveness & the Constitution (Dafydd Trystan Davies)
Welsh Government policies allow reasonable time off for certain trade union activities, including attendance at recognised trade union conferences, participation in workplace trade union elections and attendance at specified trade union meetings, subject to managerial approval and operational requirements.
Welsh Government does not hold centrally recorded information on the cost of attendance at trade union conferences, National Executive Committee meetings or internal trade union elections for the last financial year.
